Market Research Insights Internship
Overview
Spherix Global Insights is seeking a motivated and curious undergraduate student for a Summer Insights Internship role. This opportunity is designed for junior or senior students to gain hands-on experience in market research, data analysis, and strategic insights within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
The intern will be embedded within a specialty therapy area team, contributing to live project work and developing foundational skills aligned with Spherix’s end-to-end insights generation process. This role provides exposure to the core responsibilities of an Insights Analyst and offers a strong foundation for future opportunities.
The position is based in Exton, PA and reports to an Insights Director or Senior Insights team member.
Key Responsibilities
Insights Generation
  • Assist in developing data visualizations and frame-outs using various visualization tools
  • Support survey development and quality checks, including reviewing survey logic
  • Conduct secondary research to build therapeutic area and disease knowledge
  • Work with datasets to organize, validate, and review outputs
  • Assist in identifying key trends, patterns, and insights within data
  • Synthesize findings into clear, concise takeaways and support insight-driven storytelling
  • Assist in summarizing open-ended responses and proofreading reports
Client Deliverables & Team Support
  • Contribute to client-ready deliverables, including slides and summaries
  • When possible, attend internal meetings and gain exposure to client readouts, capturing notes and follow-ups
  • Track updates to materials and maintain basic change logs
  • Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with team members and gain exposure to advanced analytics approaches and evolving methodologies

Qualifications
Required
  • Junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
