NOW HIRING: Quality Control Inspector
1st Shift | $17.00-$20.00/hour | Full-Time

Custom Filters Direct is a rapidly growing manufacturer of custom HVAC air filters, and we're looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
If you have previous quality inspection experience, enjoy solving problems, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule
  • 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Overtime: Overtime may be required based on production demands and can include staying beyond your scheduled shift and/or weekend work.
What You'll Do
  • Inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform visual inspections and verify products meet customer specifications before shipment.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns, and communicate findings to Production and Operations.
  • Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify product dimensions.
  • Complete quality inspection reports and production documentation.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Product Inspection, or Manufacturing Quality experience is required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
