This is a year-round, Full or Part -Time, flexible internship based on school schedule.

Our Digital Analytics Department is focused on delivering actionable insights to support our mobile app and online banking operations. We perform analysis that help business and app developer teams enhance user experience and optimize performance.

We are seeking a motivated and talented year-round intern to join our growing team. This role involves working with senior team members, department leaders, and business units to support research and development efforts using digital and financial data. You'll help explore and summarize data to enhance our business intelligence, generate insights into customer digital behavior, analyze mobile app and website usage trends, and examine customer sentiment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and exploratory analysis on competitive intelligenceand emerging trends in mobile banking domain involving quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
  • Explore datasets with existing available technologies and tools
  • Write code in SQL or Python to summarize and analyze data
  • Group data, assess trends, and analyze and interpret results with some complexity
  • Develop data dictionaries and STTM documentation to improve data usability
  • May leverage data science techniques such as logistic regression, machine learning, or forecasting for more advanced insights
  • Collaborate with business intelligence and data science team members
  • Participate in team project planning and Agile/Kanban stand-ups
  • Utilize effective written and verbal communication to document and present findings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
  • Strong knowledge of data gathering, compilation, data management
  • Knowledge of statistics and data science use cases
  • Ability to learn and use data and cloud environments such as Azure and Databricks
  • Technical writing skills
  • Communication and data storytelling presentation skills of technical material
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Programming abilities in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages in data exploration, data preparation, modeling, prediction, and statistical analysis
  • Area of academic study in analytical discipline such as economics, finance, data science, statistics, mathematics, or degrees in similar quantitative fields
