Job Summary:
Redfin is revolutionizing the real estate industry by using data and innovative design to enhance the home-buying and selling process. As a Data Analyst II, you will analyze user behavior and develop success metrics to drive engagement and conversions for early-stage homebuyers and homeowners.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on homeowner audiences and Redfin Estimate product performance and user engagement.
• Leverage analytical expertise to deliver simple answers to complex, ambiguous questions.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards supporting the Growth analytics reporting portfolio.
• Define success metrics and perform rigorous analyses for experiments.
• Collaborate with team members to review analyses, code, and dashboards, ensuring high-quality deliverables that answer the right questions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role within a business environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python or R, and statistical analysis.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and build alignment.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong curiosity that doesn’t stop at the 'What?' but seeks to understand the 'Why?' and 'What if?'
Preferred:
• Experience with web/app traffic analytics and A/B test evaluation
