Job description

Job Description – Data Analyst
 The primary role of the Data Analyst at Spherix Global Insights is to manage the market research data development, collection, and reporting process for assigned projects. The position will work closely with the Insights Team and reports to the Manager of Data Analytics.  The position is based in Exton, PA. Applicants who do not live locally can be considered for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve survey programming to ensure critical data elements are in place (piping, branching, etc.) for effective analysis
  • Work closely with Franchise Heads to develop the analysis plan for each publication
  • Following fielding, clean and format data, prepare summary statistics using SPSS and cross tabulation analysis for specified cross tabulations
  • Input summary data into Power Point templates
  • Respond to requests from clients for additional analyses
  • Work with Franchise Heads on additional ad hoc analyses that may be used in other settings
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Exposure to and proven capabilities in data analytics
  • Strong understanding of statistics and familiarity with statistical software applications such as SPSS, Python, SAS, R, or SQL.
  • Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Power Point
  • Demonstrated ability to work without routine supervision and consistent track record of delivering against objectives
  • Good communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar position preferred
