Job description

KTP is proud to offer a Production Intern Program that gives candidates a chance to develop skills in the workforce.  This is a great chance for candidates to have exposure to a fast-paced production environment and develop relationships that could help them identify their future career path.  Kleen Test takes pride in being a team-oriented culture with a family atmosphere, which is a great place to learn, grow, and succeed.   

Wondering who can participate?  Here are the program requirements:

- Must be recommended by a KTP employee

- Must be at least 16 years old 

- Interns may not work for or directly report to a family member

Shift and Hours:

1st shift, 7AM to 3PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

        Perform packing duties including palletizing, stacking, and packing cases.

        Assist with supplying packaging material for the line with the material handler or machine operator.

        Complete cleaning/sanitization of work area according to established guidelines.

        Maintain a safe, clean, organized production line and work area.

        Assist with waste removal from line and/or plant.

        Observe all safety and quality procedures while completing required duties.

        Process all required paperwork accurately and timely.

        Other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Requirements

  • Must be recommended by a KTP employee.
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to complete daily reports and correspondences.  Ability to effectively communicate to co-workers and supervisor.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures, and decimals. 
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
