Location: Paramus, New Jersey

About the Practice:
We are a well-established 20 years strong and growing plastic surgery practice based in Northern New Jersey. Well known for providing world class patient care, state-of-the-art facilities, natural results, and collaborative team environment. We are a full-service cosmetic & reconstructive surgery practice. Our focus areas include reconstructive breast surgery, facial rejuvenation procedures (including face-lifts), advanced microsurgical techniques, DIEP flap, and body contouring. Our practice also has 2 medical spas.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgeon to join our team and support the continued growth of our practice.
Position Summary:
The Plastic Surgeon will perform a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a primary emphasis on breast reconstruction, facial plastic surgery, microsurgery, and body procedures. Ideally, someone with micro-surgery/DIEP flap skills. The candidate will have outstanding surgical skills, a strong aesthetic eye, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Procedures are performed at local hospital and surgery center. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday - days. Hours can vary depending on surgery schedule and call schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Ø Perform surgical procedures including:
o Breast reconstruction (post-mastectomy).
o Face-lifts and facial rejuvenation.
o Microsurgical procedures (e.g., DIEP flaps, nerve repairs).
o Body contouring (tummy tucks, liposuction, etc.).
o Conduct thorough consultations and pre-operative evaluations.
o Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and safety.
o Provide post-operative care and follow-ups.
o Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
o Participate in practice marketing initiatives and educational events.
o Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, anesthesiologists, and administrative staff.
Qualifications:
Ø M.D. degree from an accredited medical school.
Ø Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.
Ø Completion of an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency program.
Ø Fellowship training in microsurgery.
Ø Technical skills in cosmetic & reconstructive surgery; DIEP flap surgery is a big plus.
Ø Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills.
