The Life Safety intern will be exposed to a wide variety of fire alarm and fire protection systems aspects with broad roles and responsibilities to include: assisting engineers, CAD design support, data analysis, documentation, project coordination, fieldwork assistance, software proficiency, safety compliance, research and development support.
Responsibilities
Life Safety intern will have various responsibilities aimed at providing them with valuable exposure to the engineering field. This may involve supporting engineers in their projects by conducting research, preparing reports, and assisting with technical tasks. The intern could also assist in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tasks, such as creating drawings, sketches, or models, working under supervision to gain practical skills. Additionally, responsibilities may include data analysis, documentation tasks like organizing project specifications and reports, as well as helping with project coordination by managing timelines and communication between team members. The intern may also have the opportunity to accompany engineers on field visits, inspections, or testing activities to gain hands-on experience.
