  • We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Commercial Intelligence and Analytics to lead high-impact analytical work supporting TTD's cross-functional teams, with a focus on Sales and Client Services. This role sits at the intersection of commercial analytics, applied intelligence, and go-to-market execution. You will identify analytical opportunities and turn them into scalable deliverables and insight pipelines that support a broad set of internal stakeholders. Working across Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Technology, Finance, and related teams, you will help translate analysis into proactive signals that improve prioritization, decision-making, and field execution. This role leads analytics, decision support, and insight activation end to end, in partnership with engineering and systems teams responsible for core infrastructure. You will work closely with analytics engineering and technical partners to deliver clear, trusted, and actionable intelligence that improves seller focus, client outcomes, and the overall client experience at TTD.
    What we do
Commercial Operations is composed of closely connected functions that help TTD grow revenue in a disciplined, scalable, and data-driven way. Across these teams, we improve visibility, standardize key metrics, strengthen decision support, and help client-facing teams act with greater precision and consistency.
Within this organization, Commercial Intelligence and Analytics turns commercial, product, and client data into insight products that support internal teams and improve how TTD serves, grows, and retains clients. We build analytics, signal frameworks, and decision-support tools that help Sales and Client Services teams understand portfolio health, prioritize effort, identify risk and opportunity earlier, and engage clients more effectively. Our work spans descriptive and diagnostic analysis, scalable reporting, proactive insight delivery, AI-assisted workflows, and close partnership with technical teams that operationalize analytics into durable systems.
    Core mission
The Senior Analyst drives high-impact analytical work from business question to field-facing output. This includes identifying where better analytics can support internal teams, designing the logic and requirements for insight pipelines, partnering with engineering and systems teams to deploy scalable solutions, and ensuring the resulting outputs are trusted, understandable, and useful. Success in this role means not only producing strong analysis but also embedding it in repeatable workflows that create proactive signals for Sales, Client Services, and other internal teams.
    What you'll do
    • Lead commercial analytics that clarify revenue performance, portfolio health, renewal dynamics, client opportunity, service risk, and other core business questions.
    • Design proactive insight pipelines by translating recurring business needs into clear analytical logic, metric definitions, signal criteria, and output requirements.
    • Partner with analytics engineering, Business Technology, and Revenue Operations teams to embed analytics into workflows, dashboards, alerts, and decision-support tools.
    • Develop outputs that help internal and client-facing teams prioritize effort, identify risk and opportunity, and act with greater precision.
    • Build trusted analytical assets using SQL, Python, validated metrics, and clear analytical logic.
    • Apply AI- and LLM-assisted tools to improve analytical speed and quality across exploration, documentation, anomaly detection, query development, and workflow design.
    • Translate ambiguous commercial problems into clear analytical plans, stakeholder-aligned requirements, and measurable deliverables.
    • Help prioritize analytical opportunities that are scalable, actionable, and likely to drive broad commercial impact.
    • Help embed analytical outputs into go-to-market systems so they reach users through the tools and workflows where decisions are made.
    • Assess whether signals are reaching the right users, informing action, and improving outcomes.
    • Communicate findings clearly through concise narratives, practical recommendations, and decision-ready guidance.
    • Contribute to the team's analytical maturity through strong documentation, testing, metric governance, and repeatable analytical approaches.
    Required qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or a similarly quantitative role.
    • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets in modern data environments.
    • Proficiency in Python for analysis, automation, and workflow development.
    • Experience translating business questions into analytical approaches, requirements, and decision-ready outputs.
    • Experience building repeatable analytics, signals, or insight workflows rather than relying solely on ad hoc analysis.
    • Experience partnering effectively with technical teams and a broad set of internal stakeholders, including client-facing teams.
    • Familiarity with AI- or LLM-assisted tools in analytics workflows, with strong judgment in applying them responsibly and validating outputs to ensure accuracy, rigor, and reliability.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain findings and tradeoffs clearly to a range of stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to data quality, metric consistency, and analytical rigor.
    • Experience with SQL, Python, Salesforce, planning tools, product telemetry, and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
    Preferred qualifications
    • Experience supporting Sales, Client Services, Revenue Operations, or other go-to-market teams in analytically rigorous environments.
    • Experience building or operationalizing proactive signals, recommendations, or decision-support outputs for field or client-facing teams.
    • Familiarity with advertising technology, digital media, measurement, or platform-based commercial models.
    • Experience working in high-growth, data-intensive organizations where analytics support multiple stakeholders and workflows.
