The Importance of the Role

The Law Clerk Co-op will play an integral role within Sarepta's Legal department, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of legal functions that support a global biopharmaceutical organization. This includes intellectual property, contracts, corporate governance, compliance, international operations, clinical matters, and transactional work. Throughout the program, the Law Clerk will collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals and will complete a substantive legal research and memorandum project on a topic relevant to Sarepta's business and regulatory environment.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

As a Law Clerk Co-op, you will contribute meaningfully to active legal matters and projects that support Sarepta's mission. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting attorneys and paralegals across the Legal department on a variety of legal projects aligned with both business needs and the intern's areas of interest

  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support ongoing matters and strategic initiatives

  • Assisting with the review and drafting of basic agreements

  • Supporting the preparation and review of patent and trademark filings

  • Assisting with the review and preparation of distribution agreements and SEC submissions

  • Researching an area of law relevant to Sarepta's and drafting a comprehensive memorandum summarizing findings and recommendations

This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical, real-world legal experience while making a tangible impact within a fast-paced and mission-driven organization.

Program Timeline

This application is for a 6-month co-op program that will start on July 13th, 2026, and conclude on December 18th, 2026. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, co-op program.
