• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health, particularly in relation to mood disorders, relationship challenges, and family dynamics.
• Craft personalized treatment plans that align with client goals, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) based on each client's unique needs.
• Lead therapeutic sessions, using modalities like structural, strategic, and systems therapy to address issues such as divorce and relationship counseling effectively.
• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to help clients meet their therapeutic objectives.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for all clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research in mental health to adopt best practices and improve treatment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance care delivery and professional growth.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and stigma reduction, ensuring client voices are heard and respected.

The LMFT will work primarily with diverse clients seeking support with relationship issues, mental health challenges, and family dynamics. Special attention will be given to clients navigating transitions such as divorce or separation, as well as those addressing mood disorders like depression and anxiety.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients.
• A compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, with a strong sense of empathy.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to handle administrative responsibilities alongside clinical commitments.

• Experience in using various therapeutic modalities, particularly in divorce and relationship counseling.
• Knowledge of the latest developments in mood disorder treatment and addiction counseling.
• Proficiency in telehealth systems and virtual therapy platforms to facilitate remote counseling sessions effectively.
