Location: Ellabell, GA, USA - 1338 Interstate Center - Building A

Available shifts:

Monday to Friday, 5am-1:30pm

Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Overview

The Inbound Specialist is responsible for overseeing and supporting day-to-day inbound warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, returns, and inventory control. This role ensures efficient and accurate processing of inbound goods and supports cross-training in outbound functions based on volume and operational needs. The Outbound Specialist supports the daily execution and continuous improvement of outbound processes including picking, packing, shipping, and dock operations. This role ensures timely, accurate order fulfillment and serves as a lead trainer for outbound associates, with cross-training in inbound functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound:


*Discrepancy (work with purchasing for any additional research)
*Receiving (work with the Logistic team to review & add landing cost)

*Put-away and Replenishments (audit & research)
*Returns processing (R&D research)
*Cycle counting and inventory accuracy
*Yard management coordination
*Monitor inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes using E1/Syspro/Megatrak and RF devices
*Maintain accurate and legible documentation of inbound activity
*Support and train new and existing associates on SOPs, safety, and productivity standards
*Collaborate with Outbound teams for cross-functional support as volume demands

Outbound:
*Perform and train others on outbound functions, including:
*Pallet and Case Picking
*Dock processes including pallet and direct trailer loading audits
*Manual backorders and outbound calendar management
*Shipment confirmations and truck audits
*Maintain dock organization and shipment accuracy
*Support yard management and dock flow based on scheduling
*Provide guidance and training to outbound associates, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and productivity goals
*Assist with cycle counts and inventory tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires 3+ year(s) of related experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of distribution/warehouse experience (multi-area experience preferred); internals must have at least 6 months of service to qualify

  • Strong understanding of inbound and outbound tasks in a Distribution Center

  • Inventory experience

  • High adaptability and willingness to flex across functions

  • Power Equipment experience (Reach Truck, Stand Up Dock Stocker, Cherry Picker, Electric Pallet Jack). Must be able to maintain certifications once trained.

  • Technology Proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams; RF devices; ERP systems(E1/Syspro/Megatrak), Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication with the ability to provide feedback and partner with diverse groups of individuals

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve operational issues. Identifies and addresses issues promptly to ensure continuous operations

  • Must be a positive change team memberthat demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals

  • Must have a positive attitude, be quality driven, organized, punctual, committed, self-motivated and have an excellent attendance record

  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality; self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong adherence to established procedures and safety protocols; comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Physical Demands (may include all or some of the following, some only on occasion):

  • General office demands

  • Must be comfortable working at heights

  • Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required

  • Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)

  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.

  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.

  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.

  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
