Job Summary

Responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and operational support of the Food for the Hungry’s (FH) infrastructure systems and services. Supports cloud and on-premises environments, server infrastructure, data center equipment, and operational processes while collaborating with infrastructure, endpoint, and network teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology services.

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure administration
  • Understanding of cloud-based services and hybrid IT environments
  • Experience supporting physical and virtual server environments and data center infrastructure
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure equipment including switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and rack-mounted systems.
  • Experience supporting user accounts, permissions, and system access management
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and operational issues across multiple technologies
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and systems administration best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across IT teams
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time per year in the US and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support server, cloud, and infrastructure systems.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual server infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain data center hardware, rack equipment, UPS systems, and related infrastructure components.
  • Manage user account permissions and access controls.
  • Monitor system health, backups, maintenance activities, and operational alerts.
  • Support patch management, system updates, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud service support.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and operational issues as assigned.
  • Maintain systems documentation, inventory records, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, endpoint, and network teams to support secure IT operations.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and follow established security standards and processes.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance activities and operational support as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft environments, cloud services, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, server administration, and systems monitoring tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation technologies is a plus.
  • Relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Non-profit ministry experience is a plus.
