Lyten is looking for aJr Buyer Intern whowill ensure alignment of supply chain of manufactured parts, assemblies, weldments, and commercial components with Engineering project schedules for accurate communication with various departments on project status.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new suppliers as needed
  • Send out Request for Quotes (RFQ) to suppliers to identify best price and lead time.
  • Place and manage Purchase Orders (POs), confirming and tracking delivery dates.
  • Expedite late deliveries and keep the ERP system updated with current supplier delivery dates and supplier notes.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team on special projects and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Sophomore year Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong willingness to learn and be a team player.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with other employees and vendors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Able to stand for up to 5 hours

Compensations Range:

The expected base salary range for this position is between

$25.00 - $32.00

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable)
