Job Title: Software Engineering Co-op - Summer & Fall 2027 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: As a Software Engineering Co-op, you will provide prototyping, coding, testing, scripting, and document generation in support of software development activities. You will perform data analysis using proprietary software systems in support of on-going contracts, and develop automation software for program-specific data flows on those contracts. You will also develop breadboard implementations of algorithms in MatLab or Mathematica environments based upon mathematical descriptions of algorithm approaches in order to come up with creative solutions to problems.

You will benefit from working side by side with a talented and experienced group of professionals eager to mentor. Ideally, we'd like the candidate to join the team in Summer 2027 and continue through December 2027. Responsibilities: Algorithm prototyping Code development in C# and Python Software test development Requirements, test plan, and release documentation on generation and updates Data processing Qualifications: Required: Completion of at least one year towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening Development of moderate-sized desktop applications in a Windows environment using a C-based language (C++, C#, Java) Strong mathematics background including completion of calculus and linear algebra courses Desired: Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, but not required Previous internship/co-op or other work experience - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
