Responsibilities

As an Engineering Intern at CalAmp, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and deploying highly scalable cloud-native microservices. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable services using open source and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Knowledge of Java programming language
  • Will be local to the area in Summer 2026 and can do a hybrid in office (T-Th) at our Carlsbad office
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
