Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers handson exposure to manufacturing operations and engineering processes, providing an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a realworld production environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys working in a fastpaced setting, and has an interest in improving manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineers in daytoday production activities and improvement initiatives
- Assist with process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency
- Collect and analyze production data to support process optimization efforts
- Assist with tooling, equipment, or layout evaluations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production, quality, and maintenance
- Observe and support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in manufacturing processes, production systems, and lean principles
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented, handson environment
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
