We are looking for a Cloud Software Intern to join the group of highly skilled and motivated engineers who bring GeForce NOW to life!

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive and architect GFN cloud services and frameworks that form to build GeForce NOW. These services have requirements for low latency and high availability and throughput to support millions of gamers.
  • Design, build and implement scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS/PaaS.
  • Work closely with other teams on new products or features/improvements of existing products.
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot building RESTful web services.
  • Proven understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and security.
  • Working with Docker and Containers

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Demonstrate previous usage of Kubernetes and Prometheus
  • Exposure to AWS (Fargate, EC2, IAM, ECR, EKS, Route53 etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Exposure with Redis or Memcached
  • Usage of pub sub models and message queue
  • Familiarity with NoSQL DBs such as Cassandra

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 20 USD - 71 USD.
