ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technology Support Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the hardware, software, and technology needs of employees across IGS Energy. You will work alongside experienced technology professionals to help resolve issues, support end users, and maintain the tools that keep the business running.

This internship is ideal for students interested in IT support, systems administration, and technology operations. You will build technical skills, work directly with end users, and contribute to projects that improve the employee technology experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide technical support: Assist with Tier I troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware, software, and technology issues.

  • Support desktop technology: Install, maintain, and update desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications across Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms.

  • Perform technology changes: Assist with hardware and software moves, additions, and configuration changes.

  • Contribute to projects: Support Technology Support team projects and collaborate with technical staff as needed.

  • Maintain documentation: Help create and maintain installation guides, procedures, and technical documentation.

  • Evaluate new technology: Assist with reviewing new hardware and software solutions and escalate unresolved issues when appropriate.

  • Support knowledge management: Help maintain the knowledge base, document issues and resolutions, and generate reports for management.

  • Coach and communicate: Help document policies and procedures while supporting end-user training and communication efforts.

Salary Range:

$31,200.00 - $62,400.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
