Job Title: Design Intern
Department: Design
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
The Design Intern supports the HB Workplaces design team while gaining hands-on experience in commercial interiors, furniture planning, finishes, presentations, and project coordination. This role is designed to give interns meaningful exposure to the full design process—assisting designers with active project work while also beginning to take ownership of smaller projects under the guidance of the design trainer. Interns will build confidence in industry tools, strengthen their understanding of workplace design, and contribute to real client deliverables in a collaborative team environment.

While performing job duties, must regularly speak with others and listen. Frequently required to sit. Uses hands, for example at a computer keyboard. Occasionally required to stand.
