Job description

R&D Graduate Student Intern: As an R&D Graduate Student Intern, you will help design, develop, and implement AI/ML-powered software prototypes. You'll gain hands-on experience working with experienced scientists and engineers, and you'll have opportunities to learn about new AI/ML applications and approaches.
This is a paid, flexible, hybrid position based out of one of Camgian's office locations. It is designed for graduate students eager to apply their skills, learn new technologies, and make an impact in the defense sector. Interns may work during the academic year, the summer, or both, depending on availability. Typical hours are 10-20 per week during the school year and 30-40 per week during the summer.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (M.S. or PhD) in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in algorithm development and implementation using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Strong mathematical background and knowledge of AI, ML, and deep learning concepts.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience collaborating effectively as a member of remote or hybrid project teams.
  • Eligibility to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
