Interns in the Valuation Advisory group at Stout perform engagements for various different contexts including fairness and solvency opinions, estate planning, employee stock ownership plans, purchase price accounting, corporate tax matters, and shareholder planning.

Interns at Stout have the opportunity to gain client exposure and improve their technical skills while working under Stout professionals.

At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away.

As an Intern, a typical day might include the following:

  • Performing industry and company research;
  • Analyzing financial statements;
  • Preparing due diligence questions;
  • Attending meeting or calls with company representatives;
  • Creating detailed financial models (Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Public Company, and Merger and Acquisition); and
  • Creating the end deliverable for the client (presentations, analysis packets, written report).

An Intern candidate should possess strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills as well as have the following academic and professional experience:
