Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to technical edit, format and stage complex document sets with strategic importance to the SS&I Division. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring version control of documentation and providing training and collaboration to cross-functional teams throughout the proposal development process. Additionally, the Project Management Specialist will manage SharePoint, create proposal workspaces, provide metrics to leadership, and develop templates. The Project Management Specialist will also provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within their job area.

Essential Functions:

Manage projects or processes with general oversight
Responsible for ensuring high-quality program documentation by performing technical editing utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications
Responsible for ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and free of errors, including consistency in tense and format of products
Responsible for creating locked down working templates for cross functional stakeholders using the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
Communicate with Compliance colleagues on determination of sensitive information and ensure documentation is marked accordingly
Responsible for developing and implementing DM processes
Establish review delivery dates and coordinate with Contracts and Finance for delivery of documents
Provide delivery metrics to leadership standup meetings, weekly staff meetings, SharePoint dashboard and/or other tools
Understand basic principles of cost accounting and internal accounts
Setup proposal SharePoint workspaces and stage with current templates and historical information (as applicable)
Communicate with contacts within and outside of own department to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
Create presentations and brief leadership on current team initiatives
Make moderate improvements to systems and processes
Lead the completion of specific programs and projects with influence on the overall objective on the project
Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
Deliver a high level of customer service to internal customers
Exhibit meticulous task management and ability to manage schedules
Adapt easily to changing environments and multiple competing demands
Work comfortably both as an individual and in group settings, interacting with all levels of management

Qualifications:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $75,000-$139,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $65,500-$121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
