Job description

Standard Job Description You will be the Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Lvl 3 for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Flightline Team. Our team is responsible for Final flight ops and delivery to include flight operations, installs of electrical harnesses/wires, continuity testing, System testing, and soldering/termination operations. ~This Position will be Thurs-Sun 4x10D weekend schedule- 1st shift 5:30a- 4pm~ What You Will Be Doing As the Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Lvl 3 you will be responsible for Flight Operations, Launch and Recovery, Testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks.

You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area assigned. Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections. The candidate will be required to: Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft. Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Perform repetitive movements and work overhead. Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area. Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks. The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.

Basic Qualifications 8 years demonstrated Aircraft experience completing operational test of electronics, Wire/Harness routing, and using test equipment including major troubleshooting with atleast 2 years of flightline experience

Aircraft Environmental and Electrical system experience. Ability to understand and use complex circuit diagrams, prints and specifications. Desired Skills -F-16, Commercial, or other fighter avionics, wire routing, and installation experience -Experience using electrical, radio, and radar testing equipment and instruments.

-Military/Commercial aircraft modification installation experience including wire harness installation and check out procedures. -Ability to interpret installation drawings, install and route electrical cable assemblies, perform multiple termination processes and perform continuity checks in accordance with standard processes -Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes. -Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD secret clearance Pay Information Pay rate for this position is $27.21 - $49.04 per hour

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
