Job description

The Hoffman Hotel - Maintenance Technician
Getting the Job Done:
  • Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous, and genuine hospitality
  • Anticipates guests needs and offers services prior to the guest asking
  • Maintains the Hotels physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems ensuring they are properly functioning
  • Ensure the cleanliness, security and organized storage of all department tools and equipment
  • Complete all work orders in a timely manner and communicate with Chief Engineer and GM any repairs that require further attention
  • Ensure security and preventative maintenance in compliance with property and brand standards
  • Communicate professionally and timely with peers, managers, and guests
  • Respond to after-hour calls as needed and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Be aware of the guest service scores and understand role ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and complete all the required training
  • Complete all tasks as assigned by your Manager or Hotel Managers
  • Ability to grasp, bend, stoop and push, pull, and lift 30 lbs

Experience for Success:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Trade or Technical certifications a plus
