Position Overview:The HRIS Solutions Developer is responsible for the production of quality code, effective team participation, and contributions to the continuous improvement of the HRIS team.Responsibilities:
  • Utilize best practices and architectural guidelines to build durable, maintainable software that meets business purpose

  • Develop, program, and code software solutions and/or process improvements across a wide range of technologies including:

    • Workday configuration, integrations, and reporting

    • C#, SQL, REACT, and .NET Development knowledge

    • PowerShell scripting

    • Power Platform development (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

    • Web Services development and consumption

    • Azure (Azure AD, App Services, Function Apps, Key Vault)

    • Database development and SQL proficiency

    • Networking, HTTP, and network security (DNS, certificates, SSO, OAuth) knowledge

  • Perform data reporting, manipulation, and analysis, utilizing Power BI tools, queries, or other available reporting solutions

  • Helps deliver systems in entirety from front end development to infrastructure set up including database, network, and security

  • Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces (UI) for various custom applications

  • Design, test, and develop scalable, highly available, low-latency applications for high-demand systems

  • Collaborates with the HRIS team for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc., and participates in issue tracking and resolution for all HRIS systems

  • Research new techniques in the development of systems and maintains knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HRIS

  • Deliver excellent customer service with urgency and ownership

  • Aid team members to accomplish team objectives

  • Demonstrate proven behavioral skills, including being a team player, the ability to work independently, sound thinking and judgment, achieving results, relating to people, managing work effectively, and leading by example

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0- or 4-years relevant work experience in HRIS systems

  • Knowledge with the following technologies:

    • Workday

    • Visual Studio, Source Control, Azure DevOps

    • React, .NET, C#, SQL

    • PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI

    • Azure

    • Database, Networking, HTTP, and network security (DNS, certificates, SSO, OAuth)

  • Must be detail orientated

  • Excellent communication, problem solving & customer service skills

  • Able to work independently or collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is primarily performed at a desk and/or in an office environment for 3/4 of the day and up

  • The office noise level in the work environment is typically, moderate

  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and screen

  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is:

$70,000

to

$98,000

Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
