VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a Web and IT Communications Developer who can provide valuable assistance to USCYBERCOM by automating business processes and procedures. Our aim is to enhance web-based capabilities and solutions for our esteemed clientele. In this role, you will evaluate customer requirements, offer logical recommendations, and subsequently implement and uphold solutions utilizing state-of-the-art processes and technology.

Duties

  • Devise, construct, and modify general computer applications software as well as specialized utility programs.
  • Scrutinize user needs and devise software solutions accordingly.
  • Design software and tailor it for client utilization to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Potentially oversee the development of databases within a specific application area, either individually or in coordination with a team of database developers.
  • May be tasked with supervising computer programmers.
  • Scrutinize, clean, transform, and model data to extract valuable insights, propose conclusions, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Create planning, requirements, design, and support documentation for software.
  • Undertake software validation, verification, and the resolution of software engineering anomalies.
  • Adhere to DOD guidelines and industry standards while performing tasks.
  • Execute installation, testing, validation, and assessment of software tools, methods, and measurement technologies.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.

  • Cloud Design and Development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2010, 2013, 2016).
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence).
  • Experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Background in business process automation.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application software development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or an additional five years of experience).
  • Valid CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP certification (meeting the minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification requirement).
  • Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance.
  • Proficiency in front-end web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.

Required Clearance

  • TS/SCI with current Polygraph
