About the Role

The Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of fresh floral products to our customers. Delaware Valley Floral Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Van Driver to join our Indianapolis Distribution Team. This is a full-time role responsible for operating a refrigerated van to deliver fresh floral products to flower shops throughout the Indianapolis, IN area.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a company van to transport floral products for daily deliveries • Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining product quality during transport • Load and unload shipments while properly handling floral products and related supplies • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle while reporting any maintenance concerns • Use pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse tools to move and manage inventory efficiently • Follow assigned delivery routes using GPS or maps to maximize efficiency and meet delivery timelines • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb in and out of vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading products throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work is performed in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) as well as while operating delivery vehicles. The position requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods, as well as the ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles (vans, 16-ft box trucks, or similar vehicles preferred) • Valid driver’s license • Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically) • Must be at least 21 years of age • Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds • Strong communication and customer service skills • Comfort using GPS, maps, and route planning tools • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to workplace safety • Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings
