We're a close-knit team of water and wastewater treatment facility planning and design experts, and we're on the lookout for a passionate student to join us as an Electrical Intern. This is your chance to dive into the world of design, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and professional environment. Internship Description:
  • Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
  • Gain real-world experience in the design of electrical power and controls systems through assisting with a wide array of water projects.  
  • Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers.  
  • Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.  
  • Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites.
Garver Launch Program
Elevate your summer experience with our immersive hands-on intern development program. With Garver, you will:
  • Engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build your network.
  • Participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, empowering you to prioritize your overall well-being.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must be pursuing an electrical engineering in an ABET accredited program. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure. 
Preferred skills:
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Previous consulting industry exposure or experience.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
