Job description

Kawasaki Rail Car Lincoln, INC seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern at our Rail Car manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities of Engineering Intern:

  • Learn and support the warehouse process including special kit carts and improve standard kit cart process.
  • Assist engineers with tasks and projects, for example, tool design/modeling
  • Update operation procedures and work instructions
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects associated with the functional testing of passenger rail cars

Qualifications for Engineering Intern:

  • Some college experience preferred (Preferably students currently pursuing a degree is Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related degree)
  • Must have High School diploma or successfully obtained a GED

This position will be paid through our contract agency, Advance Services Inc. Hours will be part-time during the school year (10 hours/week minimum) and full-time during the summer.
