Job Overview
We are seeking an Enterprise Technology Intern to help deliver critical functionality on Saronic's SaaS platforms. You will work directly with our team of analysts and developers on configuration, development, integrations, and operational tooling across our application portfolio. You will learn how production business systems work at a rapidly growing defense technology company. This internship will allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to projects that provide value to our users.
This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field and eager to make an impact in the defense technology industry.
Responsibilities
  • Build and configure within enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Slack) - fields, flows, permissions, reports, and dashboards
  • Write and test automations, scripts, or Apex/declarative logic to streamline manual processes
  • Support integration work between systems (e.g., NetSuite-Workday, Salesforce data flows) by helping document, test, and validate data and APIs
  • Help maintain operational documentation, including runbooks, technical specifications, RACI matrices, and on-call response materials
  • Assist with system monitoring and uptime health reporting across our SaaS portfolio
  • Support user-acceptance testing and change management for in-flight projects
  • Troubleshoot configuration and access issues alongside the Enterprise Technology team

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field
  • Solid programming fundamentals (any language), and comfort reading and writing code
  • Clear written communication and the ability to document your work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • This role requires full-time in-office presence (40 hours/week) based at our headquarters in Austin, TX, from August through December
