About the Role

Avathon is scaling its go-to-market presence across the Middle East and is hiring a regional Account Executive to drive new business across Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Power Generation, Transportation and other industry accounts throughout the GCC, with a primary focus on supporting Saudi Arabia coverage.

You will report to the Vice President of Strategic Sales and partner closely day-to-day with Avathon's Saudi Enterprise Sales Manager to build pipeline, run consultative sales cycles, and position Avathon's Industrial AI platform with regional leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outbound customer engagement across prospective Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Power Generation accounts in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders, coordinating strategic meetings, executive briefings, and follow-ups.
  • Travel regularly to Saudi Arabia (approximately 30–50% of time) to support in-Kingdom account activity alongside Avathon's Saudi National Enterprise Sales Manager.
  • Leverage Avathon's established channel partnerships and go-to-market strategy to expand regional pipeline.
  • Build compelling business cases around operational improvement, asset optimization, production efficiency, and reliability for Oil & Gas customers.
  • Learn and articulate Avathon's AI platform, value proposition, and Oil & Gas use cases to prospective customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and forward-deployed engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in a customer-facing sales, account management, or business development role — ideally in Oil & Gas or Energy; strong Tech/SaaS sales backgrounds also considered.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the UAE, Bahrain, or another GCC hub, with ability to travel regularly (~30–50%) to Saudi Arabia.
  • Arabic speaking preferred; English fluency required.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Existing network in regional Oil & Gas accounts is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain visas/travel documentation for regional travel, including Saudi Arabia business-visit visas.
