Job description

Huntsville, AL (Hybrid) Full-Time Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required

Develop computer vision and spatial AI capabilities for defense training and simulation systems. You'll work on object detection, scene understanding, spatial registration, and model analysis to help software understand real or synthetic environments.

What you’ll do
  • Work with image, video, point cloud, mesh, RGB-D, LiDAR, or synthetic data depending on project needs
  • Train, evaluate, and refine machine learning models for perception and spatial understanding tasks
  • Build data processing pipelines for collecting, cleaning, labeling, and evaluating visual datasets
  • Integrate computer vision capabilities into simulation, XR, or training software systems
  • Communicate model performance, limitations, and technical tradeoffs to engineering teammates and stakeholders
What we’re looking for
  • Experience developing computer vision or machine learning solutions in Python
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools
  • Understanding of object detection, segmentation, feature extraction, camera geometry, or 3D perception concepts
  • Ability to evaluate model performance and work through real-world data limitations
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Nice to have
