Job description

Job Title: Intern, Mechanical Engineering 

Job Code: 43481

Job Location:Rochester, NY 

Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description: 

  • Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products 

  • Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation 

  • Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO's) as required 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms 

PAY TRANSPARENCY:In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $25.50 - $48.00 per hour. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $22.50 - $41.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.Â
