About this position:

The Project Management Intern supports enterprise initiatives by partnering with assigned Project Managers to assist with planning, coordinating, tracking, and communicating project work. This role works closely with project managers, business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams. This role contributes to project coordination, status reporting, delivery support, and basic risk and issue tracking under the guidance of experienced Project Managers. The intern will gain exposure to project management practices, Agile and hybrid delivery methods, stakeholder communication, and enterprise project work, while building foundational skills in organization, communication, problem-solving, and delivering business value.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with assigned Project Managers to support project planning and coordination activities, including meeting preparation, schedule tracking, task follow-up, and documentation updates.
  • Assist Project Managers with organizing and maintaining project information such as timelines, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, action items, and collaboration spaces.
  • Participate in project meetings by capturing notes, documenting decisions, tracking follow-up items, and helping summarize outcomes for the project team.
  • Support project status reporting by collecting updates and helping assigned Project Managers prepare clear summaries for stakeholders and project leaders.
  • Support Agile or hybrid delivery activities in partnership with Project Managers, including task tracking, action item follow-up, and continuous improvement discussions.

  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

What you'll bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate (within 3 months of internship start).
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework, academic projects, student leadership, volunteer experience, or internships in business, project management, technology, finance, or a related area preferred.
  • Exposure to project coordination, planning, documentation, reporting, or team-based work is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exposure to tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Miro, Jira, or ServiceNow SPM is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Interest in project management, Agile delivery, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foundational understanding of project management practices including planning, coordination, status tracking, and follow-up.
  • Ability to organize project information into clear, structured documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across varied audiences.
  • Ability to ask questions, summarize information, and support problem-solving in a team environment.
