Job description

OVERVIEW
The Department of Mathematics at the University of St. Thomas is looking for adjunct faculty members to teach lower-level mathematics for upcoming semesters (fall/spring/summer). These courses are Basic Math Skills, Math Sampler, Finite Mathematics, Calculus with Review I and II, Business Calculus, and Calculus I. There are also opportunities to occasionally lead directed studies of 2-credit lower-level math courses.
All courses are taught in-person on the St. Paul campus of the University of St. Thomas.
The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,994 to $6,717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications for the position include a Master's degree in mathematics or a related area and previous teaching experience.
