Job Description
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Produce custom aluminum blanks and signage through shear presses, kick presses, pneumatic presses, and CNC routers.
2. Support the department Supervisor in daily operations, including monitoring workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring production targets are met - acting as a key point of contact in the Supervisor's absence.
3. Inspect completed parts for conformance to standards and tolerances.
4. Report non-conforming parts to supervisor / QC staff.
5. Maintain focus and attention when operating machinery at all times.
6. Communicate needs with material handlers.
7. Remove scrap and maintain organized work area.
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be capable of communicating effectively with production team and department supervisors.
• Must be able to read and interpret design drawings.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Safety conscious at all times.
• Ability to interact with individuals from all backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands
• Lift, push, pull, and carry tools/materials weighing 70+ lbs frequently.
• Prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (e.g., forklift)
