  • 4 years of experience in IT support, analyst, or junior infrastructure roles

  • Experience independently administering platforms across network, storage & compute, cloud, and database environments, preferred
  • Cisco Certified Specialist (CCS); CompTIA Security+; Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate; Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate; Azure Database Administrator Associate (or equivalent); ITIL Foundation, preferred

Summary Scope:  At the mid-level, Systems Administrators lead the administering and optimizing of these platforms, executing lifecycle activities, fulfilling complex service requests, resolving higher-impact incidents, enforcing access controls, maintaining authoritative documentation, and driving operational consistency and continuous improvement.

Systems Administrator Senior (Senior-Level; III)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 years of progressive systems administration experience
  • Experience leading infrastructure initiatives, mentoring administrators, or contributing to architectural planning and modernization efforts, preferred

Summary Scope:  At the senior level, Systems Administrators drive operational governance and lifecycle strategy execution across enterprise environments, resolving major incidents, overseeing complex access and service scenarios, enforcing standards, and establishing authority over documentation and portfolio integrity while mentoring others, coordinating across teams and vendors, and driving standardization, automation, and long-term improvement initiatives.
