WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

We are seeking a part-time (15-20 hours/week) Data Analyst Intern supporting the Global People Operations team.ย  In this role you are a key player in supporting the data and analytics function by leveraging current technologies that propel the team into a data-driven organization, partnering with stakeholders to develop HR performance metrics, developing visualizations that drive insights, and supporting the HRIS function at a global level.

With a focus on the employee life cycle, you will be responsible for data and reporting, transforming data into meaningful insights and creating visualizations that tell a story. You will leverage People data from across multiple HR systems to develop and maintain reports that drive decision-making for the organization at a global scale. This role will also define and support data governance and data integrity and requires interaction with highly sensitive data.ย 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

  • Partner with key stakeholders within the People Team to gather requirements, understand data needs, and develop routine and scalable reporting solutions
  • Develop HRIS system reporting to ensure data quality & data integrity and to assist in the development and monitoring of system and process performance and service level agreements
  • Support ongoing data management and data governance strategies and assist the People Team with data clean-up efforts
  • Assist the Global People Operations team on special projects in the areas of process mapping, continuous improvement, and data governance
  • Gather, process, and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends and insights in the employee life cycle
  • Manage and analyze highly sensitive data sets to derive actionable business insights for key stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Internship or other experience in HR Analytics, Marketing Analytics or Finance/Business Analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Be comfortable cleaning, sorting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data
  • Be able to translate data requirements into easily understood reports

  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience in Power BI, Tableau or other visualization technologies

Hourly rate: $25/hr
