Internship Projects and Responsibilities:

Competitive Pricing Automation

In this capacity, the Intern will support the development of an AI-enabled pricing scraper designed to provide real-time visibility into competitor pricing across retail partners. This internship will focus on helping build a scalable process for collecting, organizing, and summarizing competitive pricing data to improve business visibility and support faster decision-making.  Responsibilities may include:

  • Support the development of an AI-enabled pricing scraper to capture competitive pricing information across key retailers and competitors.
  • Research pricing data sources and define requirements for collecting consistent, accurate, and timely competitive pricing information
  • Assist in organizing scraped pricing data into a structured format suitable for analysis and reporting.
  •  Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and identify the most relevant competitive pricing insights.
  • Help develop an automated weekly report that highlights changes in the competitive pricing landscape.
  • Document the process, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations to support future scalability and ongoing use.

Online Product Placement Tracking

In this capacity, the Intern will support the development of an AI-enabled tracker designed to monitor and report changes to Springs Window Fashions product placement across retailer websites. This internship will focus on improving visibility into how SWF products are represented online, identifying changes in competitive positioning, and helping create a scalable process for weekly reporting. Responsibilities may include:

  • Support the development of an AI-enabled product tile placement tracker across key retailer websites.
  • Monitor changes to SWF product placement, visibility, ranking, assortment presence, and competitive positioning online.
  • Research retailer website structures and identify how product placement data can be consistently captured and organized.
  • Assist in defining requirements for tracking product tile movement, new product placement, discontinued visibility, and competitive activity.
  • Help organize placement data into a structured format that supports analysis and reporting.
