Job Description
As a PNC Intern, you will participate in a "best-in-class" internship program. During this 10-week program, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to Independent Risk Management (IRM), expand the tools you need to launch your career and complement your education with real-world job experience.
IRM and our line of business offices maintain PNC's emphasis on effective risk management and adhere to the enterprise's risk appetite. As an IRM intern, you will engage in a collaborative environment gaining hands-on experience with the key components of PNC's risk framework. Your involvement will include activities such as data analysis and metrics, policy and procedures development, research, communications, and reporting. Interns will hear from IRM senior leaders throughout the 10-weeks and work together on various challenges that are proposed by key stakeholders within the business.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Working toward bachelor's degree.

  • Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business Law, Information Technology, Operational Management, Statistics, Finance, Accounting).

  • Minimum GPA 3.2.

  • Sophomore or junior status.

As an intern in the PNC summer internship program:.
  • Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision.

  • Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
