Overview
Lutron is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects. In this role, you will work on data-driven solutions that support the design, development, and delivery of our products from the start. At Lutron, your interest in data engineering will grow through hands-on experience, practical skill-building, and collaboration with experienced data engineers in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on:
  • Analyze data to innovate our products, improve customer experience or marketing techniques
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Work cross-functionally to process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Driving active projects in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability

Qualifications
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.20
  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
