Job description

Advanced Practice Provider PRN

About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider PRN (as needed) in our Primary Care Float Pool Position, you will work with multiple teams of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work alongside the provider teams in our clinics throughout the great Denver (Front Range) area. This allows you to explore the many Denver Area communities we serve.

This position includes competitive compensation, malpractice & tail coverage.

You will practice at multiple Intermountain Health Primary Care / Walk-In Clinics throughout the greater Denver area.

Your PRN hours will reflect coverage of our clinics which are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm - with 14 patients per day on average - as well as when we are open for extended clinic hours and weekend coverage on occasion.

What you'll bring:

  • Required 2+ years experience in a continuity setting as a provider with the ability to see urgent care level patients
  • Ability to work extended hours, and weekends if needed
  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
