General Contractor in Oceanside CA is currently seeking a Retail Commercial Superintendent for high-end retail stores. Corporate office is based in Oceanside, our projects are based throughout San Diego County, Orange County, and LA County. We also hold a license in Arizona some travel may be required, per diem and hotel covered.
 
Ideal candidates must be detail oriented, problem solvers, willing to travel, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PlanGrid.  Candidate needs to have the ability to work well with subcontractors, owner representatives, city officials and the H2K team. Framing/Carpentry background highly preferred.
 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
 
 Read and interpret architectural plans and MEP's.
 Work with city and pull permits.
 Studies plans to effectively manage all aspects of job to ensure project is completed on time.
 Sound knowledge of interior and site ADA requirements.
 Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start up to completion.
 Schedule work, including subcontractors and owner vendors.
 Confers with and directs subcontractor supervisory personnel and engages in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
 Manages delivery schedule for owner supplied materials and coordinates subcontractor receipt.
 Confers with supervisory personnel to resolve issues and conflicts and maintain schedule.
 Ability to forecast costs and man-hours.
 Some use of tools may be necessary.
