The pay range for this position is $21.50-$25.01 per hour depending on experience and education.
This position is located in Rutland, MA.
This is an on-call position, picking up shifts as needed
Devereux Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a Maintenance Specialist, you will:
  • Be part of a team that maintains a safe and homelike environment for students.
  • Have previous experience with interior building maintenance and repair.
  • Have the ability to multi-task, safely use power tools and lawn equipment is important.
  • You work well alone or as part of a team and take pride in your work.
  • Possess skillsets including painting, carpentry, interview building repairs (ie. holes in walls, removing/replacing doors etc) basic plumbing, HVAC and electrical.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • MA License and Vehicle required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in interior building maintenance/repair strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs required
  • Must be able to attend a 2 day paid orientation, Monday and Tuesday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
