Bridgerland Technical College is seeking a Substitute Interior Design Instructor to support our Interior Design program in Logan, Utah. This flexible, as-needed position offers an exciting opportunity to share your industry expertise, mentor aspiring designers, and make a meaningful impact in a hands-on learning environment.
As a Substitute Interior Design Instructor, you'll step into a creative classroom where students are developing the technical knowledge, design principles, and professional skills needed for successful careers in interior design. What You'll Do
As a Substitute Interior Design Instructor, you'll provide instructional support and help maintain an engaging, creative, and productive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting students with curriculum questions, coursework, and hands-on design projects.
  • Presenting organized learning opportunities aligned with approved course outlines and instructional objectives.
  • Supporting classroom, studio, and computer lab instruction as directed by faculty.
  • Maintaining accountability and supervision of students in classrooms and instructional spaces.
  • Adapting instructional materials, equipment, and demonstrations to support specific learning objectives.
  • Promoting professionalism, creativity, collaboration, and industry best practices.
  • Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of instructional facilities, equipment, and design resources.
  • Maintaining an organized, positive, and student-centered learning environment.
  • Communicating effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
  • Supporting the overall success of the Interior Design program and student learning experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience in interior design or a closely related field.
