Job description

Position: Interior Designer

About Jede Interiors

At Jede Interiors, we believe exceptional design is about far more than creating beautiful spaces—it's about designing homes where life unfolds.

We are a boutique luxury interior design studio specializing in high-end residential homes and select commercial projects. Known for our European-inspired aesthetic, meticulous detailing, and white-glove client experience, we guide projects from the earliest architectural decisions through the final styling accessories. Every detail is intentional. Every decision is thoughtfully considered.

We're looking for a designer who shares our passion for timeless design, technical excellence, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

The Role

This is a flexible, primarily remote position for an experienced Interior Designer who can confidently lead projects from concept through installation.

You won't simply select finishes—you'll create thoughtful, highly detailed design solutions, develop comprehensive drawing sets, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure every design is executed exactly as intended.

We're looking for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys solving complex design challenges, and takes pride in seeing a project beautifully built—not just beautifully designed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential and select commercial projects from concept through final installation.
  • Develop space plans, design concepts, and complete construction drawing packages.
  • Create presentation boards, material palettes, and client presentations.
  • Specify furniture, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, finishes, and custom millwork.
  • Produce detailed FF&E schedules and project specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, builders, engineers, fabricators, and vendors.
  • Conduct client meetings and confidently present design solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation throughout the design process.
  • Review shop drawings, answer RFIs, perform site visits, and oversee design implementation to ensure the finished project reflects the design intent.
  • Project Management- Support installations and punch-list walkthroughs until project completion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in luxury residential interior design (commercial experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from concept through construction and installation.
  • Exceptional knowledge of interior architecture, space planning, detailing, and custom residential design.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, architectural drawings, and the residential building process.
  • Advanced FF&E expertise, including furniture, lighting, plumbing, hardware, materials, and finish specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable industry-standard software.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with both clients and project teams.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

You are equal parts designer and project leader. You have a refined design eye, strong technical skills, and genuinely enjoy bringing complex projects to life. You communicate with confidence, anticipate challenges before they arise, and care deeply about both the client experience and the finished result.

If you're passionate about timeless design, thoughtful execution, and creating extraordinary spaces with a collaborative boutique studio, we'd love to hear from you.
