Become part of our full service design-build, own & manage hospitality development team with a portfolio of 20 Hotels, 4 Conference centers & 2 Restaurants. At Colwen Design & Purchasing, we strive for sophisticated custom interior designs that will hold up to the test of time.

We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer with the experience necessary to assist in taking hotel projects from concept to completion.

This means you will be building models in Revit, creating millwork drawings in Revit, participating in space planning, working on architectural detailing and FF&E selections.

Work with senior design staff on new construction and renovated interiors of select/limited service hospitality projects as well as some full service hospitality projects throughout the Northeast.

You will work with a vertically integrated team of developers, architects, interior designers, contractors, purchasers and hotel managers.

Help to explore various interior styles to match property location and brand requirements and be free to push the design envelope.

Our fully integrated development approach requires candidates to be flexible for and understanding of the needs of owners, hotel managers and contractors to deliver high quality, functional hospitality facilities within budget.

Implement ID drawings, manage finish indexes and review specifications- Help senior designers with furniture, COM, lighting, finishes and artwork selections

Work with vendors and manufacturers to gain broad knowledge of the newest products, trends and costs.

This is a full-time position available in our Hooksett, NH office and reports directly to the Design Manager

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience designing for hotels in the United States is required

Bachelor's degree or higher in interior design is highly desired

Proficiency in Revit is highly desired

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to take constructive criticism & direction well
