Guides students through creating accurate floor plans, sections, and elevations, managing layers and line types, inserting and creating blocks, setting up layouts for plotting, and annotating drawings per industry standards. Emphasizes precision and industry-standard practices and connects AutoCAD skills to AEC and manufacturing design workflows.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AutoCAD curricula and common challenges such as understanding coordinate input methods, managing drawing scale, and setting up print layouts. Adapts instruction using drafting exercises, real-world project examples, and progressive skill-building to support students from AutoCAD beginners through advanced users preparing for professional drafting and design roles in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
