About Us: Hoedemaker Pfeiffer, a boutique architecture and interior design studio specializes in the design of finely crafted custom home environments. We are dedicated to the creation of exceptional outcomes that tell stories about people and places through the experience of space, materiality, and rigorous attention to detail. Our offices are in the Georgetown neighborhood in Seattle.


Currently, we are seeking an exceptional interior design Senior Project Manager who will contribute to the culture and design excellence of Hoedemaker Pfeiffer.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of full-time experience in custom residential interiors

- Master's / bachelor's degree in interior design or equivalent in education or experience

- Strong vendor knowledge and substantial experience specifying high-end interiors furniture, fixtures lighting and textiles.

- Extensive experience in full project management, overseeing all phases from initiation to completion, including budget oversight, detailed scheduling, design presentations, client proposals, and more.

- Proven ability in client-facing roles, ensuring clear communication and successful relationship management throughout project

- Efficiencies in AutoCAD, InDesign, Excel, and Studio Designer

- Impeccable written, verbal and graphic communication skills to correspond purposefully with clients, internal team members, vendors and trade representatives

- Furniture and space planning and casework design expertise

- Enjoy working collectively as part of a team and independently as the lead on multiple projects

- Maintain analytical and creative thinking to solve complex problems with efficiency and organized logistics

- Possess a sophisticated eye and understanding of global interior styles

- Comprehensive knowledge of both contemporary and period furniture

- Experience delegating work to associates/junior designers on project team


Bonus Qualifications:

- Commercial design experience in the restaurant, hotel and hospitality industry

- Efficiency in ArchiCAD software

- Efficiency in 3D rendering, Sketchup, Enscape and photo shop

- Hand sketching capabilities

- Furniture design skills

- Passionate for and/or background in the fine arts and Art History


Responsibilities:

- Primary client facing contact for your projects

- Comfort and experience leading client meetings in tandem with Principal and Partner

- Design focus from schematic through all stages of project

- Coordinate with architects and project consultants

- Drafting interior architecture details and cabinetry sections & details

- Handle on-site coordination with contractors, manage OAC visits/calls with project team

- Manage project material selections

- Work directly with the Principal and Partner on the selection and documentation of FF&E products Collaborate with Principal designers & provide mentorship for Junior Designers

- Precedent imagery compilation for presentation materials

- Prepare design presentations for clients. Present and ensure successful implementation of approved design

- Analyze design objectives to identify and select appropriate FF&E that aligns with the desired aesthetic, budget, and scale

- Establish and ensure financial alignment throughout the project

- Prepare client budgets and schedules

- Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on all client orders and invoicing

- Effective management and delegation to design associates and design assistants

The Project Manager position has a pay range of $85,000 - $100,000. Offered position and compensation will be determined based on applicant's qualifications and experience.
